I don't know if the gloves would neccessarily have been the deciding factor but I agree it could definitely affected the bout. It still looks like Cotto fought the wrong fight. Who knows though, it was a close fight until Marg's punches caught up with Cotto. Also, Cotto's face looked unusually disfigured. We'll probably never know.

I think the main point is that loaded gloves could very well have played a major factor in the Cotto fight, and unfortunately there will always be a cloud of su****ion over the result.

I voted No because how can any of us possibly know although the fact that he tried to use them againsy Mosley have now brought this into question. He sure didn't look the killer he did against Cotto on Saturday Night against Mosley.

I don't hold Margarito's cheating solely responsible. Cotto definitely abandoned the body work he usually lays down because of reach issues. I read it in an interview somewhere. He said Margarito made it impossible for him to get to the body so he abandoned it completely and tried to over power Margarito while going backwards and not clinching at all. He took a lot of unnecessary shots because he believed he could accumulate more damage on Margo than Margo could do on him which is why I say the loaded gloves had a lot to do with it. Cause as we all know now based on what we saw on Saturday that Margarito apparently is feather fisted without his tools.

Of course we can't know for certain. The purpose of the poll is really to see if you think he did. If I had to bet my house on it, I would say he did cheat. I have a feeling a lot of the people who voted no would also say he cheated if they were in a betting position.
