I agree with this. Nothing is proven yet, and we may never prove anything but.. The information we have points to Marg being guilty of cheating in the Cotto fight.

1. Fights don't usually go twelve rounds when one of the participants has loaded gloves.

2. No one on this forum will agree with you that 100 out of 100 times Cotto loses to Margarito. Yes you're entitled to your opinion but people make adjustments to there styles. Cotto isn't forever trapped to fight Margarito the same way. Mosley has the blue print for beating Margaritos ass and Cotto could probably execute it in similar fashion.

3. From the second round? Really? The round where Margaritos loaded gloves broke Cotto's nose? I'm sure a more manly fighter with a broken nose wouldn't be fighting off his back foot after that.

4. Cotto WAS dominating for a large portion of the fight which is why the win ended up being such a big deal for Margarito. Cotto landed shots that would've made the Hulk take a fetal position and cry for his mother. Margaritos gloves were the deciding factor. Anyone with a brain can see that.

I don't know if the gloves would neccessarily have been the deciding factor but I agree it could definitely affected the bout. It still looks like Cotto fought the wrong fight. Who knows though, it was a close fight until Marg's punches caught up with Cotto. Also, Cotto's face looked unusually disfigured. We'll probably never know.
