Shane Mosley Knocks Antonio Margarito Out in Nine Rounds

It was a very entertaining fight in my opinion. After taking a beating early on, Margarito seemed like he was coming on a little bit in the 7th round and also the early part of the 8th round until Mosley completely turned it around, knocked down and stopped Margarito in the 9th round.

This was probably Mosley's most complete performance even at 37 years of age. Margarito showed his chin but even a rock will break if you hit it enough times. Mosley with his speed was able to land on Margarito almost at will.

I said it all along, if Mosley does his job he haves the tools to win, but I never saw him winning by KO, well done Shane. He took all of Margaritos powers and thats what Cotto didnt do, but I see Cotto winning the rematch if he fights his fight and not Margaritos.

It was very entertaining for me, margarito took shanes shots well early on and threw enough back to make it pretty entertaining

and the stoppage was dramatic, especially the first knockdown and the whole notion of margarito being badly hurt for the first time

it was a pretty good fight despite being one sided.

you always had the feeling that margarito would pick up the pace in the later rounds. if margarito wasnt a late rounds fighter it wouldnt have been so suspenseful.

I feel so bad and very disappointed with Margarito, he is one of my favorite boxers and I always back him up, but he got his ass whipped, he was never in the fight, and he got knocked the **** out! I don't know how he can recover from this. Honestly, I don't think it's necessary for Margarito-Cotto 2 @ this point, maybe Cotto-Mosley 2. The way Shane Mosley looked, I don't think Miguel Cotto could beat him again. Sensational victory!

Hats off to mosley, he fought his fight in orderly fashion not giving in into brawling, and clinching as he see fit. Excellent fight.

As for Margarito that **** with the wraps is f**ing disgraceful, and should be banned from the sport.

I agree, Margarito-Cotto 2 lost some drawing power, in terms of comparison to a Mosley-Cotto 2, cuz Marg wuznt even competitive tonight, his stocks fell da same way pavliks fell after bhop, i think mosley went in wit a bigger heart/desire tonight also, cuz all da drama hes been dealing with, if cotto beats jennings convincingly still do a cotto-marg rematch this summer, then winner fights shane in december, but i also 4got pacman wants a shot at one of em, not 2 mention floyds hearing offers
