Andries wasn't a great fighter but not a bad one either. Atleast he was involved in some highly entertaining fights.

But I never saw him come even close to stopping Hearns in that fight. He took a beating.

As much as I like Margarito, he is getting a little overrated by some for his win over 5'7 Miguel Cotto.

I too think that it wasn't just the very late rounds that Hearns' durability was in question.

Iran Barclay, Dennis Andries, and Juan Roldan really showed up Tommy's wobbly legs. It took Leonard a bit longer. Hagler took no time at all. lol

He put Hearns down in that fight. Some people reckoned it was a slip, some said it was a punch. But in that round (can't remember what round it was) Tommy's legs were like jelly. Hearns did beat him easily though apart from that round.

Andries was an entertaining fighter. He always showed up to fight. He just looked so amateurish in the way he fought.

3:30? Seemed like Andries kind of pushed him down.

Are people seriouslt comparing 147 Margos chin to 160lb Hagler(possibly the best chin in history)? Hearns would batter and bruise Margo for about 4rds then put him to sleep. This man is so overrated its unbelievable hes a tough guy with an iron chin hes not an all time great. Hearns at 147 was a BEAST, this is ridiculous Im gettin pissed.

Exactly, I would love to see Marg try to walk through Hearn's punches.
