No, if you want to box do NOT get Lazik. In that procedure they cut your eye and it never truly heals, it just sticks together like glue but a blow can dislodge what they did. That is strange, I hate wearing my contacts to do anything. I can imagine the pain they would cause if you get hit with a grazing blow to the eye. It's wierd though, you'd think he would just get laser correction surgery, but it was clear that those lenses he had where prescription and magnified his eyes. Maybe he only needs them to read or something.
The right eye surgery to get would be a type where they scrub your eye with what looks like a toothbrush. I actually don't know the name of the surgery but they don't have to cut your eye. The reason people prefer lazik over this is because this type of surgery takes longer for you to see at perfect vision, where you are basically 20/20 or even better the day after Lazik.Comment

**** not even that night.... My grandfather went blind in his 50's..... And my sight was, well to say my sight was **** is and under statement..... I couldnt see that clock on the wall..... The whole procedure took about 10 minutes, the moment they were done and taking me off of the table, I could see the clock perfectly..... But that night the sleeping pill wore off and my eyes burned like a mother****er.... I wanted to cry..... My eyes were shut and tears were gushing out even though I wasnt crying... They were watering up because of the burning in my eyes..... If you get lasic take the sleeping pill and maybe a Vicadin(?) so you can sleep all night... The next day I was good.... But I had to sleep with these special goggles for the first month and a half or so....No, if you want to box do NOT get Lazik.
