Trivia Question:Which fight has the highest attendence for an ARENA?

Meanwhile tonight’s Margarito-Mosley fight at Staples Arena in Los Angeles will attract 20,000+, an arena record for boxing. This includes all 18,157 seats plus luxury suites.
Arum revealed that the Staples Center will hold the biggest number of spectators ever when Mexican ironman Antonio Margarito defends the world welter crown against the dazzling Shane Mosley tonight.
This is for all those people who care about being a draw. This record does not include the name Mayweather or De La Hoya.

That is a stadium. I am talking about an indoor arena. Like what casino arena, nba arenas, etc.

For an Arena it was the Spinks-Judah fight at the ScottTrade Center in St. Louis. I think second place was Cotto-Judah at Madison Square Garden.

Also, I think Arum is full of **** on this. There were 22,000+ people for the Spinks-Judah fight. Staples is probably bigger than the ScottTrade Center, but it doesn't actually seat 22,000 people.

I think that statement means it's going to be the most spectators for any event ever held at the Staples Center. I really don't think Staples can hold 22,000+ like they had for Spinks-Judah. If Staples could hold that many people then I wouldn't be surprised if they would have gotten that many, but then against if the ScottTrade center could have held 25,000 I wouldn't have been surprised if they'd gotten that many and so on.

All 22,000 tickets for that fight were sold in 2 hours.

Oh yeah that's another thing. Arum is really only talking about indoor arenas here in the US. I'm pretty sure there are Euro fights that've gotten more than 22,000 people in an arena than many of the US fights.
