Yo Z... look man, you have to fight the way you feel most comfortable, and then compensate. A lot of fighters say they don't like keeping their hands up because it limits their vision and leaves their body open 100% of the time. Now Roger Mayweather might be as dumb as a tubberware bowl, but I did hear him give good advice once... he said, if you are using your feet to keep distance and move out of the way (which I saw you do against Hartley)... you can drop your hands... but the minute your opponent charges you and begins closing that distance... you need your hands up (which you didn't do in your first fight).
Point is... the ONLY advice I have heard given to you over the last 2 months has been "keep your hands up". We can make a list a mile long of champions who keep their hands low, and a list a mile long of champions who keep their hands up... both will be full of people who have been KO'd despite where their hands are. Fight the way you feel comfortable and polish technique. The hands are only an issue when the distance is closed.Comment

If you keep bad practices in training they will appear in a fight. I have only fought amateur, so I don't know what it is like in the pro ring, but I know that training is where the hard work is done. Always keep your hands up, even when hitting the bags or pads.
No offence, but you don't have the movement, footwork, or reflexes, to afford keeping your hands low.
Your speed is pretty decent though.Comment
