Manny's last minute move in signing the contract is simply a tactic to get under the skin of Golden Boy Promotion, particularly to a very irritated Richard Schafer.

As we all know, there is no way that Manny will make the money he'll earn on this upcoming fight against other boxers other than Hatton and Mayweather Jr. even if he take the smaller portion of the pie.

My take on Manny's last minute move is simply this, get under the skin of Team Hatton and drive Golden Boy Promotion crazy. Then at the end, when all the frustrations build up and child's plays from Golden Boy Promotion take place, it's time to take the fight.
