I don't really see the point for Pac Man to fight at a catch weight. The way I see it, either way Margo is going to be pretty tough in there no matter if the weigh in was at 144 or 147.

Plus, Manny will want to fight for the welterweight belt right? If Manny believes he can beat him at 144, he has to believe the same for a fight at 147.

But Manny weigh in only at 142 when he fought Oscar. 144 should be fairer though as Roach have suggested when fighting ww guys.

Manny doesn't need to target the chin, I see Manny wins by stoppage due to eyes closed and can't continue or by wide UD. Lets get it on.

Pac has the same chance Floyd has with a big welter like Margo , if they cant catch them they will box the ears of , Margo is a relentless plodder compared to the speed and movement of Pac or Floyd who both dont get tired , Margo punched nothing but air for 6 rnds with Cotto , I reckon Floyd and Pac are a lot harder to pin down than Cotto is , I reckon Pac has a very good shot at beating Margo on what we have seen so far , Mosley and Hatton might change things though .

For the record I believe Manny would want to fight Tony at 147. But it might be in his best interest to make Tony work hard to make the weight.

If you fight him, might as well fight for the WW championship. Doesn't make much sense not to, the danger level differential between fighting a 144 lb Margarito 24 hours before fight night and fighting him at 147 is little to none.

Margarito was hitting Cotto's body. What are you talking about? He was about to drop Cotto with a body shot in the second round. Marg would be targeting the body and not the head. But hey if pac thinks he can win then by all means take the fight. We all know Floyd wont.

BTW Cotto did not tire. He was beaten to a bloody pulp. Broken nose and all.

Was Margarito's weight a statement to Pac? If I were Pac I would ask for a fight at 144. To be honest I see this fight happenin regardless of the weigh in and I see Pac winnin a lopsided UD. Too fast too good of lateral movement and stamina and a southpaw at that. PAcman made a believer out of me he will be able to go head to head with any welterweight and would only really struggle, maybe against Williams.
