Tarver and Pavlik were bigger then him. I don't care if Pavlik was moving up in weight, he was the bigger man. Bigger Reach, Taller, and he was bound to move up anyway.

He fought many people of his size and mostly around it. Only De La Hoya was the one who really shouldn't have made the jump. You could make a case for Winky too.

ok for starters, trinidad was a big welter and jr midddle and a decent sized middleweight, he wasnt tiny compared to hop

de la hoya was a lot smaller yes

pavlik is a big middleweight who is about hopkins size, or perhaps even bigger, hopkins didnt leave middleweight because he was too big but to look for new challenges

calzaghe fought at a higher weight than hopkins for nearly all his career, they are at least the same size if not calzaghe is a bit bigger

tarver was much bigger naturally then hopkins, hopkins is a middleweight who went up to light heavyweight to fight tarver, who was a pretty big LHW

            wright was smaller yes

like the thread he made about boxers in jail, where he was obviously trying to imply that they are mostly non white

and then when he was talking about some european in jail he calls him a "bad mofo" and then when he talks about hopkins in jail he calls him "a pety theif with no morals or integrity " or some ****, i could dig the thread up if i tried but i couldnt be ****ed

Great Take. I have been saying this all along. Bernard lures the best. He is the most smart boxer in and out of the ring. I hate the guy on a personal level and don't give him that ATG mark everybody does. That being said he is an ALL TIME Great at picking opponents. Maybe even the Greatest.

                      hahaha yeah bull****

hopkins in his MW days walked around at 165-170 dude he was always in shape

now im guessing its around 180ish

so wha if his first pro fight was at 175, ever consider that he didnt train hard enough for it? or didnt use proper weight loss methods that would have him at his best fighting weight

give me a ****ing break tunney
