Bernard Hopkins has never fought a bigger man than himself. He's mostly gone after smaller men (Trinidad, De La Hoya, Wright) or a few the same size (Tarver).
His recent opponents - Pavlik, Calzaghe, and Wright - were all moving up from smaller weight divisions.
Roy Jones defeated John Ruiz at heavyweight. Why has Hopkins always picked on little guys?
Would say the same for Margarito besides the Williams and Santos fights?
There are very few boxers who have fought a lot of bigger opponents. That's why there are weight divisions, to ensure that the guys in the ring are about the same size.
Having said that, I agree that Tarver is a bigger guy than Hopkins.
