Where would Hatton stand (P4P) if he beats Manny?

In all seriousness,I struggle with this whole concept of him being No.1 because of three words-Juan Manuel Marquez

If Marquez beats Diaz I would find it hard to place Hatton as the number one P4P fighter in the world. Juan is moving up in weight to fight a formidable fighter in the "Baby Bull" and he already sc****d split decision loss to Pacman which is an achievement in itself. Hatton has fought a P4P number one fighter and was thoroughly embarrassed for most of the rounds until the knockout. When talking in terms of P4P you need to examine the skill sets of fighters as well as opposition and if Hatton wins his resume would be slightly better with a win over Manny but Marquez is still the superior fighter in terms of counter punching,speed,defense. It is all opinion and speculation anyways......

I dont know what fight you saw,but hatton was doing alright until about midway against mayweather.incidentally are you saying that someone should be ashamed about losing to floyd or embarrased? and are you serious about manny being in floyds class? Ricky aint a welter,pac aint a light welter,and this whole p4p thing is a bunch of subjective bollocks anyway! p4p would have a lot more kudos and make a lot more sense if the right fights happened,you know the ones.pac-marquez,marg-williams,calz-dawson etc.but now more than ever ,money is more important than prestige and the right fights dont seem to occur.lets not forget that hatton-pacman aint signed and sealed yet.

I think all this division hopping doesnt help,i mean,its almost seen as a weakness if you stay at one weight and dominate that division.sugar ray and tommy hearns have a lot to answer for! lol

It's all subjective, people rate Hagler highly and he stood at one division and dominated....

According to the Ring rankings Hatton is currently tenth. A win over Pacquiao would probably stick him up to number three with Pacquiao and Marquez moved down putting Hopkins and Calzaghe as number 2 and number 1.
