i think hattons style will play into pacs hands.

Pac has never faced that style before. And Hatton's speed is often underestimated - he is very fast, especially his footwork. A lot depends on how much Mayweather Snr. can get him to work on jabbing his way in and not rushing, and on increasing his head movement and his angles. If he can improve in those departments, I think he has a real outside chance.

I don't think it's about greed at all, I think it's about misplaced feelings on his part that he wasn't being shown enough respect. I don't like the way he has gone about the negotiations, but I think it's wrong to say it's about greed. As for bluffs being called, it was Hatton who set the deadline, not Pac. Pac said he felt setting the deadline was disrespectful to him, and that he would take no notice of it, and I actually agree with him on that bit. Also, Hatton's team had claimed that they already had another fight lined up if this fell through, and then when they called the fight off it turned out they didn't have it lined up at all, so that was just a bluff.

I didn't see or read that anywhere.... & wut so great about a guy recieving double what he made against dLH & then devaluing his opponents ring accomplishments & then dessappearing & not speaking to his trainer or Promoter for weeks but give statements thru text & internet... Where was the good negotiating. Fct of the matter is it was horrible negotiating. B/c pac is the one who painted himself into a corner. By saying he would not accept a guaranteed 12mil dollar purse on top of 50% of all rvenues. When he had no alternative fight on the horizon. soto? valero? 2mill 4 mill?? where was the smart negotiating. That's y in the final statements he dissed Ricky & then conceded in the same breath & said let's talk w/out the middlemen...He knew He ***ed up & couldn't hedge his bet. & finally conceded to what was originally offered....What was the point in all the grandstanding.... This wasn't about HAtton. This was about the 70/30 rapage that oscar forced on his ass. He was HOT!! over it& had not let it go. Ricky was gracious all the way thru. He sset an agreement & stuck by it. Then he made a concession as a show of good faith. Then He stopped & gave an ultimatum..that was good negotiating....Wut are u talking about....

I'm probably one of the few who didn't bite when they said the fight was off.

I have a feeling we're in for a treat here, maybe another modern day classic fight (Max K) like Margo/Cotto?

Manny has never faced a naturally bigger person as good as Hatton.

Barrera, Morales, and Marquez were all at a weight he was comfortable at. De La Hoya was a shell of his former self. Diaz is not a real world class fighter.

Hatton is just past his prime, but he is probably one of Mannys biggest ever challenges. This will be Mannys first time at 140. Only his first time above lightweight fighting a real quality opponent. Diaz was just a place holder, and De La Hoya had nothing in the tank. He looked shot.

For all intents and purposes, I think Pacquaio will win. But he will know he's been in a fight this time. I would like to see how he handles the power, footwork, and speed of Hatton. Something his last two opponents did not have. I would like to see how he reacts when he is past the 8th round, and he is hit with a trademark Hatton body shot. I would like to se how he reacts the first time he gets hit with one of Hattons hooks. Manny is not a defensive genius. He will take shots.

This will be a very good fight. But those who think Manny will wipe the floor with Ricky, need to realise he isn't Mayweather.
