Good thing this fight is on! I like Hatton but he would loose. This will be like Pac-Diaz but more competitive.

everybody thought the same thing about Margarito last July. & many people (not this fight dfan) were heartbroken. Everybody who is giddy w/ excitement & havent taken a hard & earnest look at the tangibles & intigibles of this fiight sond silly. Pacquiao has been facing one style of fiighter primarily...counterpunchers who stand in front of him. Majority mexican. Pacman has never been forced to go backwards all night. & never had someone so strong & so fast @ closing distance in his face. Ricky will eat shots. But he will deliver punishment like no other to Many. They are both 30 yrs old. Ricky can swell to 180 lbs when out of training. He is a relentless stalker. Floyd was going backward all night. So was Kostya TZyu (who was a ko artist & HOfer & 140 lb king & guy whose jaw ricky broke & made quit on his stool in a championship fight) Ricky will force pacquiao back all night w/ pressure & power shot. & all u Pacquiao drug addicts better pray to god that in his 12 WEEK!! training camp ricky does not get back to the art of head movemnt & solid Defense w/ sr. B/c if he does It's game over for manny. Ricky does not tire. & all the disrespect from all ovr the place will guarantee Ricky will be up for this fight He will hurt & eventually stop Manny in this fight & u guys will come back to the boards sounding like total dumbasses w/ ur tails btw ur legs & a bucket of excuses for manny. But I doubt u'll be any less willing to frolic in his pubic hairs & suck him off in order to comfort him... Just go back & review that Hatton vs yxu fight. first of all pac has become a more versityle fighter he can trade and he can use lateral movement. the tszyu that ricky fought was not prime, hatton has not faced a fighter no where near as good as pac since mayweather or before. people keep saying 140 is hattons domain but pac carries his weight well. all pac needs to do is come up with a gameplan to counter hattons mauling then its over. it will be competitive for the first three rounds then pac will take over with his speed and accuracy.Originally posted by mistermartin View PostComment

I had a feeling someone would say Tzu wasn't in his prime. That may be the case but He was a huge favorite. & was coming off of two ko victories over Sharba Mitchell & Zab judah buth w/ in 3 rds. No matter how old u are (tzu was 35 & was no where in the same sentence as shot) U never lose that punching pwr. Point is that he hit harder than manny does & ricky took his wrecking ball of a rt hand. & tow rebutt ur 2nd point Paulie is not as good ads manny ut paullie is a "slick" fighter w/ a beautiful jab who said Ricky's movement confused him & floyd is the best defender in boxing next to hopkins. He was able to pin floyd down. Save for Floyd's magnificent defensive ability He would have been punished as well. Manny.. not so much. He's gets hit alot. & he loves to go toe 2toe.(just like Mosley who will get punished tomorrow) So Manny will not be hard to find..He's not built to run But he will gt pushed backwards. Manny won;t be fighting a DLH whoo sttood there & crept forward inch by inch & pawd like frankenstein at manny. or just put earmuffs on & didn't punch at all. He's fighting a man who will be looking to rip his soul from his body. Who is bigger & fast. & a CAREE body pucher. & undefeated at his weight div. Manny will beat him to th pnch yes...But will he prevent him from catching him...no. Ricky & Manny are the same height...he won't be ducking away from slow reaching punches from a man almost 5 inches taller. It looked like a damn Ewok fighting w/ chubakka...I'm surprised manny didn't run thru oscar's legs & hit him on top of the head from behind...This will be a very diff fight. Manny is coming off of 2 very uncompetative bouts. He hasn't even been hit by a real punch north of 130. We'll see how he rects to it all. I'm willing to bet not well. W/ his belts on the line. I don't think it's about greed at all, I think it's about misplaced feelings on his part that he wasn't being shown enough respect. I don't like the way he has gone about the negotiations, but I think it's wrong to say it's about greed. As for bluffs being called, it was Hatton who set the deadline, not Pac. Pac said he felt setting the deadline was disrespectful to him, and that he would take no notice of it, and I actually agree with him on that bit. Also, Hatton's team had claimed that they already had another fight lined up if this fell through, and then when they called the fight off it turned out they didn't have it lined up at all, so that was just a bluff.Originally posted by The_Visitation View PostComment

people keep on saying not to put emphasis on the delahoya and diaz fights because they were weight drained or class b fighters, either way pac made them look that way. It would be a problem if pac had difficulties against a weight drained or class b fighter but he did not. he is in prime form and Hatton has not got the skills to beat a pacquiao. pac has to much experience and skill to beat hattonComment
