Pac played against the wrong hand...

Pacquiao believes that because he beat De La Hoya he has the bargaining power, when in reality, the exact opposite is true. Ricky Hatton has the trump card and is the winner here. He hasn't fought De La Hoya yet. De La Hoya even in his decrepit state is still the big pay day. Bigger than Hatton... bigger than Manny... bigger than Marg. Now, Hatton gets to fight DeLa Hoya, probably in London, for a ****load of money and, of course, boxing fans get squadoosh.

Hopefully Pacquiao gets a fight with Mayweather and maybe Hatton/Pac eventually meet up down the road... But, make no mistake... Pac got caught bluffing against Aces.

No one wins in this situation. It was the biggest fight out there for both guys. pac is playing a game hoping for a wild card(PBF), when no one really knows when or if that card is gonna be dealt. He had his shot to make great money with Hatton and blew it. His next fight will be for signifigantly less. Even if PBF comes back to fight him it wont be a 50-50 split. PBF is gonna want a DLH-esque split. Pacman loses but most of all the fans who wanted this fight lose.

Pacquiao has a chance now at fighting Floyd for an even bigger payday

Hatton shot himself in the foot. He won't be able to get that big a payday than with a fight with Pacquiao. He won't even make what he would've made with Pacquiao if he got the 45 split.

Name one fighter besides Oscar or Floyd who can get him that money?

                Go ahead...Ill wait...

Hatton makes more money in a fight against DeLaHoya than in a fight with Pacquiao.
