PBF is gonna want a DLH-esque split. Pacman loses but most of all the fans who wanted this fight lose.
hatton loses the chance to nail his legacy and redeem himself from being ktfo by the former p4p. both lost huge money, but ricky i bet is the one most affected by this.

Ricky Hatton is following the steps of Juan Manuel Marquez when he refused the immediate rematch with Manny Pacquiao. One slip from Ricky and his career might be in jeopardy. It took a long time for JMM to regain the rightful respect that he deserves. hatton is in danger of doing the same.

Manny has been in this situation before with JMM, Barrera, GBP/Top Rank, De La Hoya. He knows how to play the game and will continue to fight the best of the best. Besides, he has established his legacy already.

One slip from Ricky and he might be chasing Pacquiao and his legacy for years to come. 55-45 now is alot better now than a wider gap later on.

Hatton shot himself in the foot. He won't be able to get that big a payday than with a fight with Pacquiao. He won't even make what he would've made with Pacquiao if he got the 45 split.

Name one fighter besides Oscar or Floyd who can get him that money?

        Go ahead...Ill wait...
Do you think Floyd is comin out of "retirement" for a %0-50 split with Pac?? I highly doubt it.

Oscar... the guy he's going to fight will get him more money. I know that's not the answer to your question, but it's the only answer that's relevant.

See a fight with Floyd though, I could see Pac taking the lesser cut. I mean I don't see it being a 70-30 or 60-40, but anywhere in the 50-40s and considering it's Floyd Mayweather, I highly doubt they'd turn that down.

But obviously it's all hypothetical, but IMO Hatton should've taken the fight even if it were 55-45. He wont make that money with anyone else...not even Oscar now (how would they sell that fight anyway???).

The real losers? The MGM in Vegas. We were gonna fly back over there to drop off our cash.

yeah but hatton beating dlh means nothing because pac destroyed dlh. hatton cant buy legacy with his money. hatton cant erase his KTFO by pbf with his money.

You're right. But Hatton has plenty of time to do that... 15 million dollar pay days don't come along that often.

The only real winner in this? Jinky. She doesn't have to awkwardly maneuver around cameras for 2 more hours on HBO..

No one wins including the fans in this one but I believe a Pacman/Hatton fight will happen sometime down the road. JAT
