I heard McCrory say he has great balance like Nas. What? Nas never had great balance. He relied on his power, and reflexes. If I make a video of how not to box, I would put on of Naseems fights on there. He was good. But Kell Brook is the better 'boxer'. If anybody watches the fight above they will see, patience, composure, balance, and defence. All things Nas lacked.

      yeah i heard that too

he does have very good power kell but hard to compare it to naz yet (if ever) and his style is quite polished. I guess he just looks like him a bit and has a similar backround and power.

No the camp that Brook and Witter are from is a team called the ingle's, and they belive in really light sparring and mostly to the body, sparring isn't like that everywere in the United Kingdom.

They have produced many great fighters over the years etc Naz, Witter, Nelson etc, and they all have very unorthodox styles.

          Apart from the power.
The first knockdown was very Naz-like IMO. Not just the power and speed but the technique.

If you check out his fight with Barrie Jones, he drops his hands and relies and reflexes more. He reminded me of Naz a lot that night.

I think he should stick to his style in the video above. Dropping your hands is not a good habit, and it gets you knocked out against stronger fighters.

If I was Ingle, I would work on developing the boxer seen in the video above. Kell Brook looked really impressive. When Khan knocks somebody to the floor he goes crazy and starts throwing punches everywhere. I was impressed the way Kell just took his time, and looked for the openings.

Very good boxer indeed. He could be the next real British boxing star.

I actually think Kell Brook is one guy from the U.K that can make an impact on an international stage. This kid has the goods, hopefully he steps it up in another year or two.

The premise being that bodyshots are more difficult to evade than headshots, so if you can learn to avoid shots to the body well then avoiding headshots will be easier. Full sparring doesn't come into play until the later prep stages before a fight.

No you don't understand the Ingle's have never been into really hard sparring, the man who created the style and the camp Brendan Ingle, he never like hard sparring and even when the fight is getting close he still only liked body sparring, but now that his Dom(his son) has been put in charge he likes to use headshots and go a bit rougher.

So the Ingle's have never been into full sparring early in a camp or late on in a camp, epsecailly when Bredan was in charge, i think maybe Dom might of changed a few things. But by this video it dosen't see like it.
