Well put. He's a fighter's fighter who always gives his all, will fight anyone and anywhere, but just hasn't always got the breaks in big fights. There's not really much to dislike.

It's all part of the underdog theory. I like Johnson too but not that much. It's the typical way fighters like Johnson, Judah, Toney etc are loved on this site and undefeated champions like Mayweather and Calzaghe are hated.
It's a very primordial human instinct and quite amusing to laugh at when you can rise above it.

Bear in mind that this is the same guy who thinks America "owns" boxing, despite having one fighter in the top ten p4p, not having one decent heavyweight, and only winning one boxing bronze at the last Olympics. Acute myopia doesn't do him justice.
