Vazquez-Marquez 3, I think Vazquez would have knocked Marquez out in the 13th if there was a 13th.

My friends and I have been watching this fight every single weekend and screaming at the television. I'm generally level headed but depending on who I watch this fight with I get a different score. How did everyone score that? I dont' trust myself cause I wanted Hagler to win so badly.

I've scored the fight twice and have come up with Leonard winning both times, once 7 rounds to 5, once 8 to 4 but some of those rounds were close.

I really think Leonard gets credit for more of his work b/c he has so much style with his punches and he makes such visible flurries. Honestly, I think this is so close it should have been scored a draw. Whomever wins it's almost like giving the fight to someone for an extra landed 2 or 3 punches. I don't know if Hagler would found his target with the extra 3 founds. SRL was on his bike.

I just thought in those close rounds he kept even with Hagler for 2.30 of the round and then upped the pace in the final 30 seconds to steal the round, I could see why people had Hagler winning though because he definitely landed the harder shots.

Leonard himself admitted that if it had been a 15 round fight, he would have gotten knocked out, he had nothing left.

Really, I hadn't heard that. Did he say that in recent years or directly after the fight? Btw.. I think that Leonard V Hearns 1 would have gone to Hearns had it been a 12 rounder.
