What complete bollocks! Their promotion team are in overdrive right now trying to stop all the fans being really pissed that he pulled out of the most anticipated fight of '09 because he was money hungry, so they're now saying that Peso Pacquiao has the balls to fight Margarito to make it look as though he is going to fight him, which is just utter tripe. Only a week after the Oscar fight, Roach said there is simply no way in hell he would ever let Manny fight Margarito. He said it would be career suicide. That's from Roach's mouth.

Yes, I don't think Margo is interested in fighting at a lower weight. If he does he's crazy because I know he saw the DLH fight and the effect of the lowered weight in that instance.

I have to admit that at first I was disappointed in Manny for not taking the fight. But I congratulate him on valuing himself that highly against his other opponents. He is getting real gangster lol and causing a lot of buzz. At this rate, if Manny beats Margo or destroys JMM at 140 if they fight, he really will become a HUGE superstar.

If you build up a any type of fight like this and don't give the people what they want when they want, it will just make yourself that much more desirable when you actually come out and fight again. Because unlike Mayweather, we know Manny wants to fight at least 3 or 4 more fights, and he believes that he is great so the next year or two we will see if Manny can reach only DLH status as a star or maybe even Tyson status if he can beat Margarito or Mayweather he can be there IMO.

There appears to be a real problem with the abuse of weight limits in boxing, you have fighters that are killing themselves to get down to a weight, then re-hydrating and putting on insane amounts of weight in a small period, it so dangerous when you got fighters that are coming into fight night around the weight limit, and they are fighting someone who is as big and a middle/super middleweight.

Pac shouldnt be let near Margarito imo.
