I was only aware of one world class contender or champ that Gonzales had fought, Niida. Very good win. Was it a fluke? We don't know yet. Does it mean that he'll KTFO of Calderon? Absolutely not.

Well there won't be no rematch for sure. Niida retired because of him. Kind of wish Eagle Kyowa didn't retire also. He would have been a nice other test for him.

Also Gonzalez has also fought a top contender in Jose Luis Varela (who was shutout by Calderon) and top 15 contender, but not top ten Eriberto Gejon (also shut out by Calderon. They were both destroyed in a round...

I take it you have seen the fight with Niida otherwise you really shouldnt be having a conversation about someone you havent seen. If you have then you will realize that it was no fluke. RING magazine called it a " bludgeoning".
He also took out Varela that went 12 for the title with calderon in one and that was before calderon fought him. he beat gejon who fought for the title twice in one.
Calderon has done everything asked but he has been run very close by Barrera and cazares, neither of which Gonzalez would be a dog against.

It will happen late this year, after Calderon, Solis. Gonzalez people will make it happen. he will put himself in position to fight the winner. he wants solis just as bad too so it all fits perfect.
Calderon wont have to worry about paying all the sanctioning bodies, because he wont be leaving with any of the belts.

He fought Varela after Calderon and Tellez too. In fact calderon KOd tellez first

If Calderon gets his unification bout with Solis, he will move to 112 to fight Narvaes. I guess Gonzales will move to 112 and win a Belt, to lure Calderon into a match.

Like I said before, nobody knows Gonzales, plus he doesnt have a belt, so he needs to grab a belt before Calderon gets the deal done with Solis, or he will have to move to 112 and win a belt there,to lure Calderon to a fight!!!!!
