You said he wasn't rated higher by The Ring. He meant pound for pound, hence why I explained it.
I'm not in a rush to see Gonzalez-Calderon right now. I mean granted, yeah I'd love to see it, but I want Calderon to actually unify and face the top contenders. He hasn't faced the top 3 or 4 people in his comp ever except when actually facing the titlist. Juan Esquar and Nelson Dieppa weren't ranked top 5 I know that. I think they were a bit lower. Dieppa was ranked 2 before. Hence why Cazares vs Dippea was for the vacant belt.Last edited by warp1432; 01-23-2009, 11:06 PM.Comment

i saw one fight of calderon, i think it was againts cazares where he popped an artery on his forehead. that was just friggin nasty.
nways, i def think he is top ten. most dont pay attention to the smaller weight class but ivan is definitely a special fighter. amazing skillsComment

My opinion is just my opinion, if you wanna think of it as worthless then i dont give a **** think whatever you want just dont be gettin all pissed of that i dont think calderon is the best fighter ever. people look way to far into everything.
But im gonna stick with what i said which is if calderon cant physically beat his opponent and only win by points then he shouldnt be considered #1 p4pComment
