I think manny is using the money as a way of avoiding ricky hatton because to be fair manny was wicked against oscar and david daiz but i feel he dont want to fight hatton because of hattons amazing body shot selection and manny is weak to the body and even fred roach has even said that hatton can pull the trigger but over all its a fight that everyone wins what a shame

Maybe this is all part of the 'Hype' script? Its actually a done deal - and they are trying to whip up a shed load of publicity for the fight...I hope its a done deal. It does boil down to money which is sad and a slap in the face for the fans who have helped get both fighters where they are.

Manny has lost some of the respect I had for him...to be fair to Hatton they did budge on the original 50/50 split. What more can they do - they were both being stubborn yet Hattons team were willing to compromise. Manny will no way make nearly as much money fighting valero. Seems ****** to me...

Hatton is the big draw in England Manny is the bigger draw in America. THis fight makes dollars and sense. Manny getting a 50-50 split of 50 million makes alot more sense then he getting a 60-40 or 65-35 split of 5 or 7 million. But ****** is as ****** does....Lefty
