Shane is a worker. I think he may be able to go to the body. Because I don't think he'll back up as much as Cotto did. When you back up as Cotto did it's hard to set your feet and dig into the body. That margarito didnt leave the body open... he specifically said he tried... but the openings just werent there, he said he thinks margarito worked on covering the body... and knew he could take the punches to the face lol... seriously though he said that about the body... and if anyone knows how to goto the body its Cotto.

I dont think standing infront of Marg is the thing to do, but fighting in the pocket and constantly moving over AFTER punching (with speed) to avoid the counters, could work.

im not saying That particular way of fighting marg wouldnt work... but 37 yr old shane doing it, i think is a different story... he was gassing against mayorga, and mayorga hardly pressed the fight... mosley will have a bigger man constantly walking him down and allowing him no rest time, and he wont stop throwing punches if mosley is set... the more the fight goes on, the more margarito seems to smoke, and the more mosley seems to run out of steam...

I don't. Why exert all of your energy as Cotto did in retreat the entire night? It makes no sense when you can cover up properly and clinch on the inside when it gets a little rough. Sure it's harder than I say but Shane has the experience to do it I believe.

Yeah some good points.

I dont think Shane will win either, but if he has any chance he MUST go to the body, hit the arms elbows what ever.

shane would need to stick and move for 12 rounds....minimize exchanges...stay away from the ropes....clinch when margs lets loose and he needs to stay composed for the entire fight
