If Taylor ducks Froch that would be terrible for boxing. The only credible opponents for him as an alternative to Froch are Kessler and Bute, and he doesn't seem interested in fighting either of them right now (and Kessler isn't available anyway). OTOH, if Froch really is making silly monetary demands that is also terrible for boxing - Froch needs the Taylor fight in order to get international recognition. But Taylor needs the fight for his credibility as well, especially as Froch holds the most sought after of the alphabet titles.

Taylor/Abraham would be a fight I would pay for.

Yeah, but Abraham should fight Pavlik and/or Stern first.

Rumor from boxing-confidential has Froch wanting a guaranteed $1 million for the Taylor fight.

Miranda might have the kind of unorthodox style and punching power to give Taylor hell.

If that's true, somebody needs to knock some sense into Froch, quickly - if he were to beat Taylor, his marketability would soar and he could earn far more in his next fight than he can earn now. HBO isn't currently interested in Froch for a good reason - almost no-one outside Britain has heard of him. If he ducks Taylor due to unrealistic monetary demands, he won't be able to earn anything much in the future. And he'll look a prize idiot, after claiming that Taylor has been ducking him.

                    Why not?

Taylor has some serious stamina issues the longer a fight goes and the wild way Miranda throws that looping/wild right hand reminds me of Mayorga.

Im not saying he will, but you never know.

A loss would be devestating to Taylor's career and a win would mean nothing seeing as Miranda isnt even top 10 himself. JT needs to go after a belt...

If he doesnt want to he could fight Bika, Dirrell or Ward
He did, but it was at a catchweight of 162.
