True, there weren't many but he has a rather impressive list of opponents he could have faced and didn't.

people act as if there is a wealth of ATG's around that everyone can pick and fight as they choose

when Floyd destroys Pacquaio he will have a certified, prime ATG on his resume though

(for the record i believe Oscar is ATG)

What all time greats have there been while Floyd has even been fighting.
Exactly , some of the boys in here are so into knocking fighters they cant see the forest for the trees they think in terms of my team and if you not in it your nothing , Floyd is one of the great fighters there are many throughout history and there is no best of them all , you dont have to beat everybody to show that you are a great fighter you can only fight whats available in your time and weight and many people and things come into who a fighter fights .
You guys have eyes dont you how can anybody that claims to know boxing see all of Floyds fights and not see that he is special and has a place in history .

No Floyd hasn't beaten an ATG but he has beaten HOF's. No one is overating his resume at 135...he beat the best there JLC.

Why is he viewed as an ATG at 135?? Didn't he have like 4 fights at that weight??

                i don't know

i think he is just viewed as an ATG full stop

130 is the weight that he has arguable top 5 status in

He does have a special place in history.

The guy with the most talent who took the path with the least resistance.

                  Such a waste actually.

He beat Gatti for the 140 belt, wow, who doesn't beat Gatti.
He beat Baldomir for the 147 title, wow, what other welter besides Judah wouldn't do the same?
He beat DLH for a 154 belt, wow, who hasn't Oscar lost to in the last 8 years?

It's not too late for Floyd to face Pacman.
