Oscar De La Hoya Speaks, Family Begging Him To Retire

That's when you know it's time, you're whole family is begging you. He showed in the Pacman fight he has nothing left (even though I picked Pac to win). Oscar won't beat any of the champs or top contenders. It's crazy that he can still bring a lot of money on the table even after his defeat.

But if he wants to retire on a high note he should take Mayorga on again, he would cream Mayo again even at this stage.

Former six division champion Oscar De La Hoya is undecided as to whether or not he will fight again. He admits that his family is begging him to retire from boxing. Even his wife, Millie, has told him that he "doesn't have it any more" and needs to walk away before suffering serious injury. [details]

Oscar still has something left... He just overtrained himself and took a fight that only fans can dream about. We cheered him as a champion and know we boo him? Oscar has been the michael jordan of boxing... Think about it? What would basketball be without jordan? Not the same right? Same with oscar? Which other star fought the contenders that fans wanted him to see, he fought the vargas's, the trinidad's, the chavez's, the whitiker's. The mayweather's, the gatti's, the camacho's, the mosely's everyone in their prime that we wanted him to fight... He never backed down. Now how can we judge him off this loss...
