depending how the jennings fight goes, if he ko's him early then june is ok. if it goes later or the distance, he should fight margarito in july-august.

By that time they would've fought 11 months ago...if that's not enough time to gather your team and prepare then you shouldn't bother fighting period.

History has shown it's not out of the ordinary to comeback from a devastating loss and redeem yourself. That's what separates good fighters from great fighters.

IMO Cotto will show and prove regardless if he wins or loses.

          Its not the same case!!!!!!!!!!

Cotto went to Vegas to fight the challenger who was a lesser draw.

i agree, he should go after berto in june and then fight margarito. marg should face clottey or williams in a rematch that both deserve and if cotto/marg win those next 2 fights the rematch would be huge

cotto might be coming out with this press so that he gets the same money he got last time around.

I remember someone posting that cotto was willing to take the lesser purse with money marg in the rematch, but insisting he get the same amount of money.

Hmm, this is interesting. I just don't know what other fight Cotto would want. I mean, if he wins his mandatory is Williams, and that doesn't seem like a fight they'd be interested in when a big money fight with Tony is on the table.

MAYBE Pac, but I don't see Pac fighting Cotto. I think Pac is done at 147, and Cotto can't make anything lower.

In the interviews on this very site for the Cotto/Pavlik PPV Presser, Arum said that if they both win the rematch is going to be on June 14th at MSG. I can't see that changing.
