I don't. I've stopped sparring and fighting now.
I did it when I was 15. I had 5 fight after only 6 months of training and went 1-4.
I came back to it recently (aged 20) as I am the captain for my University team. I competed in the english championships recently to help get the club going (it was fairly stagnant until now) and I managed to loose first round. Didn't help I had to drive 250 miles, get 5 hours sleep and then drive another 100 miles to the venue lol.
Also, I don't like the effects I get during sparring/fighting when I came back to it. When I get hit I get colour patches in my vision so I avoided sparring sometimes.
I am the captain for the club as I am good at organising and I understand the principles of boxing and like training people. I just don't like taking shots.
