I have been doing boxing for a year now. I have been training like for 6-7 month now and have fought 1 amateur fight!!!!! Is hell of fun. But for the people that think this is easy they are wrong. You have to train very very hard, to even be in shape, let alone preparing for the fight!!!!!!

Yeah, I hate when people say "that **** is easy", they know nothing.

I used to fight in the amateurs. Now I spar with my cousin who's 16yr old and a friend who's pro. I train with Golo Gomez who's Tito Trinidad's cousin and used to be a good lightweight.

I was cursed with having the misfortune of being moved out of Philly when I was a teenager and took an intrest in the sport.

The closest boxing gym to where I live now is 200 miles away, so in order to train to try my hand at it, I'd have to drive 400 miles (200 up, and 200 back) at least 5 times a week.

It blows.
