            Trainers tend to leave punchers in there for longer than they should, on the theory of a big left hook or a big right hand which doesn't usually come.

            But sometimes it does.

              Yer sometimes it does but even if Lacy had knocked Calzaghe out late (which would never happen in 1,000 fights) the soul had been extracted from him.

                The one fight I felt should've been stopped in the 7th and wasn't was The Matador against Levander Johnson (RIP)...I was watching that and thinking man they gotta stop this. and they didn't for four rounds.

                  After the 7th. It was obvious by then he needed a KO, and just as obvious he wasn't gonna get it.
