I don't care if the man has pride. His fledgling career was ruined by Calzaghe. Not to mention his health.

They threw in the towel for Haye when he was taking a few shots against Thompson which was a good decision.

I would have thrown it in somewhere around the 6th.

7th after he was beaten up against the ropes.

anywhere after 4 would have been good though.

6th would have been too early. anywhere from 9 upwards.

Though I agree, the towel should definitely have been thrown. Lacy took an horrendous beating that night

Calzaghe gave Lacy brain damage, and after Taylor got Calzaghes left overs... He still didn't perform better against Lacy then Calzaghe did.

Giving him a fair chance to land that lucky bingo punch in a big unification fight, I say he was done after 8. The rest was unnecessary brutality.

But he would have escaped with his health. You disgust me, he could have been a good champion with more development.

Yer I'd say give him the 7th then out. Calzaghe has a good chin. Lacy's handler's were blowing smoke out of their arse by keep sending him out - fools.

He never was what Shaw or the pressmade him be.....''168 lb Mike Tyson''?Pleaseeeeeee..........The guy looked horrible in numerous fights. He looked bad even before Calzaghe, got gifts against Tsypko and Mendoza, had a hard fight with Manfredo. He never would have been anything, too limited.
