People point towards the Hopkins loss as reasoning for picking Sturm and Abraham to beat Pavlik, but Sturm and Abraham both would have been schooled by Hopkins just the same.

Alot of posters on here dont realize that arthur abraham went the 12 round distance 3 times in 2006... he has knocked out alot of good fighters, but pavlik is more then capable of winning by late tko or UD.

Why isn't he talking about Paul Williams like he did in his last interview?? The winner of Paul-Winky is the real number 1 contender **** Felix Sturm. Abraham is a definite contender for the RING title but he has to make the big fights happen in the U.S. and his promoters are ****ed up.

Not really.

Hopkins would have beaten Sturm because Sturm doesn't have enough power to keep Hopkins off him, he only has good boxing skills. Abraham is one of the hardest hitters in the sport right now, has a one punch KO power (unlike Pavlik who does it through accumalation of shots) and is a very skilled boxer. His defense is tight and he would beat Hopkins, everyone knew Pavlik was one dimensional looking at his past fights, just read the threads on this forum before Oct 2008 and you will know what I'm talking about.

abraham has a reckless style, if pavlik fights a smart fight he can exploit that and do some damage to him. bhop would make both abraham and sturm look like amatuers at 170.

Reckless style? I don't know what fights you've seen. Bhop would put those other fighters to sleep with his huggin ass style.

Sturm is overrated, but not as much as Pavlik.. Abraham is simply way to strong! It makes me sick when people talk about Pavlik as a P4P fighter, he´s so onedimensional as a fighter can be!!
