I don't think he could take Margarito. Too big and Berto aint disciplined enuff to box and move all night(and at this stage he might not be able to). Clottey he has a chance tho.

i respect him if he steps up and gives it his all and loses even if he gets KTFO.

You're the one missing the point: Berto IS an up and comer. The WBC belt is not a real title in this case because it was given to Berto. Collazo was the first CHALLENGER Berto has even fought, the first guy in the TOP TEN of the WW division. He struggled and proved he's not ready for the top five (Marg, Cotto, Williams, Clottey, Mosley).

MAYBE he can fight Quintana now, but they'd be nuts to throw him with Clottey, Marg, or Cotto after his inability to prevent Collazo from getting ro his ribs.

Why doesnt BERTO unify? i mean he has the most respected legi belt of the abc's. He has enough fights and experience.

Why do they keep portraying him as young and green?

Berto should fight Margarito, Clottey, or Williams next.

bertos people know he isnt good enough to beat the best in the welterweight division. i think clottey makes him look foolish. a fight with cotto could be decent. margarito would knock berto out in 3 rounds.
