Why doesnt BERTO unify? i mean he has the most respected legi belt of the abc's. He has enough fights and experience.

Why do they keep portraying him as young and green?

Berto should fight Margarito, Clottey, or Williams next.

Margarito is tied up with Mosley and if he gets past him then Cotto.

Margarito isn't an option. Clottey probably is the most likely. But I doubt his promoters would do that, methinks they'll take a couple more "safe" fights before steppin up like that.

Because he wont beat any of the champs as of now. They wont risk him. he will be protected for a year or 2, till gets more experince and learns how to fight around his speed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two reasons:

1) Too soon. He barely survived against Collazo.

2) He would get his a$$ kicked back to Haiti. No way he poses a challenge against Cotto, Margarito, or Clottey.

I couldnt watch the fight, but a relative of mine told me that Berto struggled more when Collazo fought inside than outside.

berto gets killed by any top ww. and as you can see the wbc is **** now as well. The fact that hey had berto and rodriguez go at it for their belt shows how ****** their rankings and their belt is. It seems like the ring is the only belt that truly holds any weight.
