Todays story.. Sauerland and Palle is working hard to make this fight, according to the news, Kessler´s got an 7 mill dkr offer(1.27 usd) for the fight with Larsen.

I saw that. Is it net for Kessler? If it's after expenses to mangager (30%) and trainer (likely 20%) the offer is ridiculously low.

I'm sure Kessler should gross at least 3 million $.

It will be interesting to hear what they are offering Mads Larsen. I'm pretty sure Mads drives a hard bargain, this could very well be his last fight.

apparently it´s Sauerland that is willing to throw most cash on the table, it seems as the 7 mill is Kesslers cut, but probably before expenses paid..
i´m very curious to hear how much Larsen will get for this fight, probably he will go for 50/50 but don´t think he´ll get that much..

If Kessler keeps fighting bonafide bums he will lose his position as the best Super Middleweight. I don't care how good he is, he needs to step his **** up. Fight Andrade or Bute. **** fight Lacy, its better than Larsen or whatever that taxicab drivers name is.

of course Kessler gotta fight the best, I you read this thread you will see thats what he wants.. Andrade got dominated for 12 rounds, so why fight him again?? Bute is weak, but ok Kessler could use his title, so I can understand if he takes that fight. Then there´s Frock who´s way to slow and unskilled to fight Kessler, but again Kessler wants his wbc title back!! but what I hear in this forum and others, is that people wants Kessler to stop hiding in Europe and fight in US and that´s exactly what Kessler wants, but can´t do until he´s released from Palle..

Whatever you guys say, the above is the main problem regarding Kessler getting a fight. He is so good, but so not american, that all promoters and boxers must have major concerns when it boils down to the "fight/not fight him".

Glen Johnson is a stand up guy - ie. I like him - but he hasn't got much to lose fighting Kessler and he offered him as little as $ 500.000 to come to the US. It wouldn't even cover expenses.

Only real chance for Kessler is to collect all belts thus becoming rather unavoidable or to partner up with HBO letting them do the commanding.

Pretty dang sad for boxing considering that he is regarded as the best SMW!!!

I agree 100% the top US-fighters don´t wanna fight Kessler, but if he could pick up 1 or 2 titles more, they can´t avoid him.. but lets see what happens after the Larsen fight, Frock and Bute will be no match for Kessler, maybe they should take each others hand and fight Kessler together
