I honestly think Manny Pacquiao can become the next superstar, as for the future, I think Danny Jacobs has the potential, but these young prospects don't get the kind of exposure they used to on national TV, it makes it much harder for them to become superstars.

I just hope I will never see that junk of a sport MMA overtake the truest sport in mankind during my lifetime.

Silencer I truly believe that these kids have the talent but they do not have "it."

Tyson even said he could sell out MSG in his heyday selling tickets of him ******* off. Ali also carried boxing with his love/hate personality. These new guys have no personality

We need a Mike Tyson. Any boxer regardless of his country in the Heavyweight division to come and clean the division like Tyson did. Bring hype and excitement Tyson did. He should be looking for a first round KO like Tyson use to. Heavyweight boxers should not go for a decision.

I agree heavyeight boxing at the top level should always end in a KO its what we have come to expect over the 100 or so years of heavyweight prizefighting. Sullivan to Dempsey to Louis to Marciano to Ali to Tyson all these guys brought unbelievable excitement because they stopped there opponents, there have been exceptions such as Gene Tunney but he was still admired and always gave it his all i suppose the same can be said about Jack Johnson however he did score many knockouts and he was seen as a god like human with the skills he possessed. A huge Boxing star has to come from the heavyweight division in my opinion, it seems to me the public can only be in awe and have admiration for a great heavyweight, probably because of the history and reputation that goes with the heavyweight division.

They don't have much of a chance to showcase their personalities anyway, boxing has become a somewhat niche sport, there aren't nearly as many outlets for fighters to showcase their personalities nowadays.

I also agree with the posts in this thread about the heavyweight division, if an American heavyweight comes along and starts knocking people out, it'll get people talking about boxing again.
