Let's be honest Mayweather is the best pound for pound fighter but white America never embraced him nor his style. Who do you believe would really put boxing BACK?

I always thought Kelly Pavlik would have before losing to Hopkins. Maybe he still can

I believe a true AMERICAN White Hope is necessary for Boxing to be on the back in America. That or an Asian boxer. A billion people is a nice market.

Lets be serious here and look at what general sporting fans like regarding boxing. Someone who shows skills that aren't human they have to have 1 punch ko power and just as important a GREAT personality with good looks. Yes David haye ticks a few boxes, Maybe Daniel Jacobs ticks one, the same with Gamboa there are many fighters with one or two amazing feats. But there is nobody with the full package to be the Mike tyson, Ali of this generation that can really make people sit up and watch boxing. My best guess would be james kirkland but he lacks that personality and human touch.
