Yes for you it wasn't close. Just like for the judge who gave it to Berto 116-111.
Maybe he too had Berto (not Collazo) controlling the entire fight, just taking off rounds letting Collazo win to show how much in control he is.
I think both of you need to sit down and work out your differences. See who is wrong.Last edited by Vladimir303; 01-18-2009, 02:57 AM.Comment

Now what Margarito did was what Collazo was doing in the 12th, chasing down a tired, worn out Cotto.
Except Berto ran out of time and didn't finish the tired, worn out Collazo.
That's the only difference. Wrong example.Comment

That Judge is a ****ing ******. theres no ****ing way, that Berto would had won 116-111. But 115-112 for Collazo doesnt sound as ****** as that. You can kmake the case for Collazo winning 115.112, but 116-111, with a point deduction. How you going to make a case for that. thats just absurd!!!Yes for you it wasn't close. Just like for the judge who gave it to Berto 116-111.

People would not be calling this a robbery if Lederman hadnt scored round 6 and 7 for Collazo. Those are rounds I feel Berto won. However, I had Berto losing the 5th so I scored it 114-113 Collazo. I do respect that it is different when you are watching it there and my guess is that Berto's punches had more pop than Collazo's. Lewis mentioned that after the bout. As a fan of Berto, I am in no way satisfied with the performance and really hope he gives Collazo the rematch he deserves. There is definitely unfinished business here, we can all agree on that.Comment

I didnt compare the way they beated their opponent. I compared that even though they lost rounds they still were controlling the fight!! So its a good example!!!!!!Comment

How is it a good example. Margarito was controlling the fight because he was on his way to TKO victory breaking Cotto down.
Did Collazo break Berto down or was he the one broken down in the 12th?Comment

So now you have to have your opponent out to be in controll? jajaja Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!But that's not a criteria for SCORING. Margartio still lost plenty or rounds. The difference was he won by TKO. He may have won the decision too because if cotto had survived the round he got TKO'd and survived the 12th, he still would've lost.
Collazo didn't do that, he didn't have Berto out on his feet holdin on for deer life. What he did have is, he won a buncha rounds as did Berto. And berto got the decision because he finished stronger.Comment

Thank You, we had a Collazo fan coming out giving it to Berto 114-113 and now we had a Berto fan giving it to Collazo 114-113.People would not be calling this a robbery if Lederman hadnt scored round 6 and 7 for Collazo. More and more evidence that the only absolute truth here is, THAT THE FIGHT WAS CLOSE.
The only one who doesn't get the memo is the thread starter.Comment
