max kellerman knows a ton about boxing. more then 99% of us, thats for sure. i like that he is taking over the merchant spot when merchant retires or dies (whichever comes first).

and that was funny. What were they arguing about? max kellerman didnt even know.

        Surely not kball15, whom has posted threads of;

        Anybody Here SELL Boxing DVD's?!?!?!
His best source would be here?

Neither DAVID DIAZ nor OSCAR DLH are even HALF as good as HATTON
Doesn't seem to fit with his usual comments.

I like Max. But to me its obvious that hes trying to be larry merchant. He should stick to just being who he is.

That's hard to believe. There are some similarities, but Kball likes Hatton, and Kellerman despises him.

Posters who remind me of Kellerman include 1) daggum the Euro-hater and 2) DiegoFuego, the Williams/Mayweather nuthugger.

              He was right.
yea, kellerman knows his ****. lol. that fight wasnt to hard to predict.

I LOVE max kellerman. He knows an amazing amount about the sport and he gets it out there so well.

Jim Lampley knows way more about boxing, but when his transitions are kinda bad. While max does it without a hiccup.

There is nobody that id rather have taking over the spot of larry merchant when merchant retires.

              kball

however, if we are ranking it by in-ring action, which i dont believe we are doing, then i think castillo-corrales 1 would be the single greatest fight of all time, no contest.

the 10th round was the single most exciting and dramatic moment is sports history. SPORTS HISTORY!!!

I was listening to Kellerman today, and he was talking about the UFC and kellerman said he like UFC a lot but he liked boxing better. Then some UFC fan calls in and says how he saw a great UFC fight and says that it was the best fight ever, boxing OR ufc. Then kellerman yells at him and asks if the man had seen corrales-castillo 1. the man replies no, he had not, and then he hangs up. Kellerman goes on to say that that fight was one of the greatest sporting events that has ever happened.

I just HATE steward as a commentator. I dont really like any of the 3rd guys anymore, and there dont serve a purpose anymore. Keep them for BAD, but get KELLERMAN and MERCHANT and LAMPLEY in for WCB

Would quite like to some sort of reply to this.

It strongly suggests kball is not Kellermen.

Type of thing Kellerman would say:

"Williams is an throwback to yester years. A class act. He can fight like the wind, and has put fear into the world around him. The sheer ability of this man reminds me of Ali. No, better than Ali. Nobody comes near this mountain of a god. He is verocious, with the apetite of a lion. Enemy's cower with fear in his presence. If his skill and talent could be compounded into a book, it would read; The Bible"

Yeah, or he is a guy paid to punch another guy in the face.
