When i spoke to him he seemed in awe of Jones. He wouldnt be scared of a tear up tho and even if he was he'd do the Ol' Cus D'amato Fear to fire ****!

They don't make erm like Nigel Benn anymore!!He was a peoples champion!! A real wild child..I have always held him in high asteem, And out of the ring he was a top bloke aswell, he told it how it was, but never looked down on people. Benn knew the appple that Jones was better than him and would prob win, But Benn always had the fighters chance though right?

A prime Roy Jones as SM would of destroyed Benn within 8, Benn would show tons of heart and give it his best shot but Roy would use his speed, movement, reflexes timing and power and this would be far to much for Nigel to handle ,and even do Benn can punch he wound't get near Roy.

But after what Benn had just done to Gerald McClellan,and around that time Roy was arguabley the number #1 p4p the fight would of been huge.

But even do i think Roy would of won, i still would of rather seen Roy fight Benn than the likes of Antoine Byrd, and Tony Thornton etc.

You have to remember the G-man did a number on Benn too.
At that time Nige wouldn't have given Roy a competitive fight IMO.
