Erm, I'm not referring to some random poster on here.

If you really believe someone "prominent" from the boxing world, just randomly happened to get on this forum (of all places), and contact you specifically (of all users who were online at the same time), you have problems.

Don't want to give too much away, but yes, Private Message as in one of those you'd send on here. I don't want to mention the forum either, it could possibly be with Boxing Scene, or another one. Not being vague for the sake of it, I judt don't feel it'd be very classy to spill the beans completely. But I am a little annoyed.

This person contacted me cos I was positive about them. I guess they thought it would be nice to send me something as a thank you.

And then....nothing. No contact after the initial offer.

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's hard to believe they haven't seen it.

Amazes me how cheap and weak people can be, especially when you can even text or email which doesn't mean you lose any face really. People are pretty understanding if you have the decency to tell it like it is, rather than pointlessly dodge it over and over.

Yeah, I wouldn't have minded if they just told me they were busy. A tad disappointed, but hey, it wasn't something I was expecting anyway.
