say all want u want .

PUERTO RICO has built his own history in boxing .

sorry americans don't drag us on ur lowest point in boxing.
We've never had a low point in boxing. We dominate, period. Ever since boxing's inception we've been home to the greatest fighters in the world. Even now we still have some of the best in their respective divisions.

Chris Arreola and Eddie Chambers at Heavyweight.

    Steve Cunningham at Cruiserweight.

Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson at Light Heavyweight.

    Jermain Taylor at Super Middleweight.

    Kelly Pavlik at Middleweight.

Vernon Forrest and Paul Williams at Junior Middleweight/Super Welterweight.

Andre Berto, Luis Collazo, Shane Mosley, Floyd Mayweather (if he comes out of retirement), Paul Williams (when he comes back down in weight), etc..... at Welterweight.

The list goes on and on. We're not at a "low point".

I never said all of the guys I mentioned we're elite fighters, they're just dominant Americans in their respective divisions. Some of them will fall off the face of the earth in no time flat (Arreola when he gets KTFO, Cunningham, etc...).

But you've also got guys like Paul Williams, dominating in multiple weight divisions, and being avoided by Margarito like a plague.

Chad Dawson being the king of 175lbs.

Pavlik still being king at 160lbs, with Abraham as the only real challenge for him out there.

We're not at any kind of "low point" because there are many Americans out there, doing their thing.

Some are unproven prospects, but even Puerto Rico has it's fair share of those. Miguel Cotto was a prospect a couple of years ago.

By the way, Vitali is an American too. He fights out of Los Angeles, California. so America does have a Heavyweight champ.
          haha.

Puerto Rico's official head of state is who again? oh, the same as America's.

But should we also lay claim to Puerto Rican legends like Gomez, Benitez, Trinidad, etc????
