Tommy Hearns isn't exactly the same as Arturo Gatti in you avatar.

Hearns would be too big, Floyd isn't a natural WW, Floyd should be compared to Arguello, Chavez, Duran etc 130-135 fighters. Hearns would win a wide UD against Floyd

Floyd's got a good chin and a strong neck, he can take a punch when he needs to. But taking a punch is one thing, taking a right hand from Tommy Hearns is another.

also i may add i think Hearns had stamina problems and if Floyd was able to fight in the pocket for a decent amount of time he could do some good body work further wearing down hearns and limiting hearn's punching output

His stamina problems normally became apparent after round 12 and Mayweather isn't the type of fighter to push the pace or the fight which wouldn't really bother Hearns. The body punching could help but Leonard landed some big, big body punches on Hearns and they didn't really affect him until the late rounds of their first fight, Mayweather is not as good a body puncher as Leonard.
