When you're sying hatton brings fans, do you mean the fans who goes too see the fight live.?
    Cause, Pac brings fans too.
That's why all his fights are always packed.
Pac couldn't care less about that ****** ring belt, to tell you the truth.

Pac should have told Arum before he went to negotiate the deal what the bottom line terms that he would accept were, and he didn't. Or else he should have attended the negotiations himself. To send a negotiator to negotiate a deal for you and then wait until several weeks after the deal has already been agreed before saying no to it, is incredibly unprofessional, childish, and unethical.

Also, Arum made it clear to Hatton's camp that he was negotiating with full authorisation from Pacquiao to reach an agreement, which he wouldn't have done if he hadn't believed it to be the case, because that makes the deal technically legally binding (a verbal contract is legally binding as long as you can prove it was made).

Arum has also implied that Pac did verbally agree to it back in December and then changed his mind later.

Bottom line, if Pac thinks Arum is such a jackas as you say, he should sack him now. If Arum has done the dirty on Pac, and is lying about Pac, as you say, then why hasn't Pac sacked Arum?

Do you realize that sports like boxing make most of their money from 'casual fans' ?

Hardcore boxing enthusiasts make up the minority in terms of paying customers.

This is why you have promotional tools like 24/7, and cross promotion with companys like Budweiser, and other corporate sponsors.

Of course hardcore boxing fans are going to know about, and for the most part support the fights regardless, but its the casual fan that they are gearing these promotions towards.

You're not factoring in the total money - it takes 10-20 Filipinos to bring in the same amount of money as on westerner/UK fan; you need to factor in the exchange rates m8.

As far as I know, both of them are P4P kings and the only thing that differentiate them is, the one being retired and the one being active! And I would say you have a mental problem if you would say "Mayweather is far better than Pacquiao!" Did the two had already met and Mayweather had proven that he was far better that Pacquiao, huh?! The only thing that is clear was, Hatton has proven being mediocre fighter vis-a-vis Mayweather! Though just your opinion, I suggest you should be a bit objective next time, not subjective!
