Don't blame Dawson for ducking Kessler, we all know Dawson would get his ass kicked if they fought at 170-172 pounds. Dawson made the right choice not to take the fight.

He came in for Mendoza and Johnson at around 173. You really think 1lb is the difference in Dawson beating Kessler, and getting his ass kicked?

I don't know. But why not take the fight then. If the story is correct that is...

You dufus, then why say what you just said? A minute ago Dawson got his ass whipped at 172, when I inform something as simple as he often fights around 173 your on to the next one of; "oh, I dunno then, why does he not take it then?" I don't know dude, that's what were discussing here.

There is no point in having this fight at a catch weight when Dawson himself is not a big Light Heavyweight and Kessler is a big Super Middleweight who could fit in a 175 frame without draining himself. Mikkel could gain exposure and a title at 175 while keeping his belt safe in his own weight class. He would have everything to gain and nothing to lose. If he did get beat, Super Middleweight will still always be there for him to dominate.

They are not far apart in terms of size......

Kessler's team has already admitted turning down an offer from HBO on behalf of Dawson.

Gary Shaw stated this past month that Dawson is willing to move down to make the fight happen.

Dawson is NOT a natural cruiser, he was fighting at 160-168 just a couple years ago.

                Are we clear here?

I dont give a damn, if the fight doesnt get made, then its both their faults.

                    Simple fight at 175

if kessler wants the fight..man up..step up to 175 or shut up.

dawsons the champ at the higher weight class..its only 7 pounds..its not like he has to jump up a few weight classes.

                      Definitely.

As long as we know talk is talk.

                      Let's see who they fight.
