        If Manny wins, he earns himself a shot at Floyd Mayweather.

        If he loses, well then he really has no business fighting Floyd in the first place, and Floyd will probably stay retired and firm in his believe that he is the greatest of his generation.


        A fight with Mayweather first would mean that Manny would have to beat Floyd in order to make a fight with Hatton interesting, and even that would lose some of its luster.

        If Manny fought Floyd and lost, a fight between two fighters who lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr wouldn't be nearly as interesting, IMO.
