The Boxing community barely follows Klitschko. You just kinda have to recognize him simply because he's the only believable Heavyweight champ, but in no way is he in the same realm of guys like Ali, Tyson, Holyfield who were highly recognized.

I had a friend return from a busniess trip to Hong Kong... he said basketball courts were littered with little Chinese kids wearing Lebron James jerseys. I think it depends on the area which star is bigger, but considering China is not known as really a boxing nation, and the fact that they make up 88% of the world population, I'd say James is bigger worldwide.
