Warren has a track record for making fights like this, where his prospect faces a faded legend who looks better on paper than he looks in the ring. He's done it many times before. Warren doesn't make fights based on his personal feelings, he's too much of a businessman for that. I doubt very much whether bitterness has anything to do with this. I believe Warren is confident because Roach is confident.

Roach believes he has transformed Khan and that Khan has too much reach, too much speed, and too good a jab for Barrera at this stage of Barrera's career. Khan didn't use his jab properly before he teamed up with Roach, and didn't get coached properly, but Roach thinks he's got an incredible jab, and Pac also rates Khan highly based on his sparring. Khan also had never learnt how to use the correct stance, or how to block or roll with punches, or to keep his chin tucked in, before he teamed up with Roach, and Roach says he's been working on those things. Roach has also transformed Khan's body, moving a lot of his poundage from his upper body to his legs.

Roach could have miscalculated, but I have a lot of respect for his opinion, and because of that, I would be keen to bet on Khan if anyone is interested.
Is Amir young-absolutely he is and Im sure he has learned a ton under Roach...I also believe that Kahn to some extent is Kahn and there will be moments in the fight where Kahn will fight like he knows how to fight and that wont be good enough against someone like Barerra.

I think Barrera will stop Khan. He's not foolish, I think he sees a way to beat him.

I don't consider Prescott the better fighter. They will fight again and Khan will win. But Prescott will always have that first fight on his resume, so he can always be proud of that.

Even Prescott's jabs that landed on Khan's gloves bothered him. It wasn't just a case of a lucky punch, everything he landed seemed to hurt Khan.

What fight tells you that MAB is shot? If you watch he rematch with Pac he certainly isnt anywhere near the MAB of old but the man still has very quick hands, takes an incredible shot and is ring savvy as they get...so Kahn has what adavantage? What youth?

Again MAB is not in prime form but to imply he is a shot fighter...what fight suggests that Barerra is shot?

this fight smells funny to me...does Warren believe in his overhyped superstar? If he really did wouldnt he get him a few more fights...or is this a lets take the money while we can because if Kahn decides to fight a couple more tune ups the chances of him getting exposed again are 50-50...

Nothing that I have seen suggest to me that Kahn beats Barerra...MAB wins in a fashion of his choosing.
                This is so true.

Barrera's fight with Marquez was close.Khan will get beat.

Lol i was gonna post a thread on here soon about who people thought was the better fighter between Froch, Kessler, Taylor and Inkin, guess i got your answer lol.

Anyway back to the thread, Barrera will outsmart Khan, but unfortunately he is just past his prime and that will do Khan a world of good, i think a late KO for Amir, i'd love to see MAB take him out for ggod though.

I absolutely LOVE how people are trying to make Prescott out to be a legitimate fighter when it is well known that he was a hand picked bum.

Prescott has never beaten anyone, and he never will beat anyone. Khan was exposed for what he is, a bum.

Barrera might not be in his prime, but he is by no means shot. He didn't look all that bad in his last 3 outings including his fights against Marquez and Pacman.

I have a hard time seeing Khan doing anything even close to winning. China doesn't even begin to describe how fragile his chin is. He has been put down and on borrowed legs by fighters that don't even have a hint of power.

Khan is not on Barrera's level, if Khan beats Barrera, I will **** my pants.

The only real thing Khan has going for him in this fight is his size.

I don't know where people get the idea that Barrera is shot. He outboxed Pacman all night, he simply lost on inactivity, which is corner was telling him was enough to win the rounds.
