Yeah but there were in the same weight class as their opponents, Pac had to move up. So with your take on Delahoya being shot, a Top pound 4 Pound lightweight fighter with Pac's size like a Marquez would of beat Delahoya in that fashion, cause some people do have him as #2.

Thats not up for discussion, what is, is this assumption, that hatton could pull a turd out of his bottom, put gloves on it, and make more money than he would for a fight with Pac, and that assumption is in correct.

So far, when Hatton fans have been asked,

"Who the **** else is he going to face, in a big fight, for more money than he would make in the Pac fight, in a fight he would have a chance to win in"

The names that have come up so far are, Timothy Bradley. (I suggested De La Hoya)

That indicates there is an issue, I want to know who the other names are.

Listen folks...pacman can't make the same $$$ against all these other options like he can with Hatton. Hatton can't make the same $$$ money with someone else other than pacman.

all these so-called options for Pacman: marquez, Campbell, Diaz, etc are options for hatton too. U think Campbell or Marquez or diaz wouldn't go up a weight 1 time to fight Hatton and get 1/2 of what pacman was gon get. For the most $$$ they need to fight each other for the 50-50.

I don't think anyone is saying he could make as much against anyone else as he could against Pac, and nor could Pac make as much against anyone else as he could against Hatton. But Hatton could still make good very good money cleaning out and dominating his own division for the rest of his career. He's already worth tens of millions of pounds, he's not desperate for money. Of course he badly wants the fight to happen, but I think he feels messed around, and with good reason, and in those circumstances I don't blame him for pulling out.

we just saw Pacman go up 2 divisions, is it really unimaginable to see 1 of the champs from 135 move up 1 weight division?

If anyone thinks this fight isn't happening for any reason, you're crazy.

There is too much at stake with this fight for all parties involved.

What's happening now is very similar to what happened when The Dream Match was being negotiated. Remember they all thought the deal fell through and then within a couple days the fight was finalized.

That fight was even more far fetched than this one is. Believe me, this fight is going to happen.

Mayweather-Pacquiao is far interesting than Mayweather-Hatton 2 because Hatton is already Mayweather's spent shell. But Pacquiao-Hatton is far more logical match-up before the winner of them will fight Mayweather.

good, hatton should walk away from the fight, it's not going to hurt his pocket or his rep, manny on the other hand, not like manny needs hatton or vise versa, but, manny's rep goes into the trash after a stunt like this. it's funny how manny is saying the if he accepts 50-50, it makes him look like the laughing stock for accepting another fight where he's not the top earner, and thats fine, but anyone else other than mayweather, who wouldn't let manny get 50-50 if they fought, but anyone else he fights, manny would get more than 50-50 or 60-40 if he fought anyone else, but the money wouldn't be the same as the hatton fight, so he would be making less money, getting a bigger cut, WOW what a genius manny and his people are.............

if i was hatton, i would fight anyone else, make some big bucks, then work towards taking away as manny big fights away from pacquiao by tying up as many guys to fights, even if they didn't go through............... i wouldn't be surprised if arum got nasty and tried either suing manny or getting him ****ty deals, even though it wouldn't be in his best interests, arum has enough money to take a hit like that. i'm not saying he is or would, but i wouldn't be surprised if he did do something like that.

it's funny how manny saying if he takes 50-50 it looks like he's taking less and would be the laughing stock of boxing, but having a huge money fight fall through and not happen because he wanted more money and now doesn't get any money because his greed cost him the fight from happening, he becomes THE ULTIMATE LAUGHING STOCK FOR #1 BONEHEAD GREED. manny needs to stop thinking he's larger than life......

In a fight that would make more money than the pac fight?

Don't get it twisted folks, neither one of these guys has a bigger fight than a fight with each other.

                      Not even close.
